It has been quite a year for the touring band. In February, the guys flew to Mumbai (Bombay), India for an open-air festival. We’ll be putting lots of new touring pics in the Photos section in the coming weeks.
Alan’s touring schedule this summer has included a show with Asia in Florida, or should that be with Florida in Asia? Also a great benefit show for the Kiwanis House in Davis, California. Another highlight was in Roswell, New Mexico, where a giant UFO circled high above the stage. See photo. The band looked just as surprised as the audience!
PJ was unable to join the rest of the band for their September engagements in Germany and Holland, so Alan once again took on buddy Kip Winger (www.kipwinger.com) for the lead vocal duties – to much acclaim we might add. What WAS Beavis and Butthead’s problem with Winger? Later that month, the band (including PJ) travelled to Omaha Nebraska for a triumphant show with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra at Harrah’s casino – actually just across the Iowa border. Onward the following weekend to Milwaukee and Elgin, Illinois, where unknown to the audience, and more surprisingly unknown to himself, Alan performed these two shows with a broken ankle.
